Mobilizing the UChicago community to donate, fund relief supplies, and support Venezuelan students and their families after the 2026 earthquakes.
Donations are received by 1001 Ideas, INC, a U.S. 501(c)(3) nonprofit — gifts from U.S. taxpayers are tax-deductible to the extent allowed by law.

For more than 10 years, 1001 Ideas, INC has worked across Venezuela and Latin America supporting young people through social innovation, development, and institution-building.
They will be responsible for purchasing the relief supplies and delivering support directly to student organizations in Caracas. Every step is meant to be accountable and transparent, so donors can always see where their contributions go.
